Position: Operations Manager
Location: Maputo, Mozambique
CALSPEC Mozambique is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to help build one of Mozambique’s leading Asset Integrity, Inspection, NDT, and Technical Authority companies.
About CALSPEC
CALSPEC is an Independent Technical Authority and Asset Integrity Inspection company serving the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Energy, and Industrial sectors throughout Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations within Mozambique
Coordinate project mobilization and execution
Manage local personnel and subcontractors
Support business development and client engagement
Ensure compliance with local regulations
Manage logistics, accommodation, transport, and equipment
Support recruitment and development of local personnel
Assist with budgeting and operational planning
Minimum Requirements
• Mozambican Citizen
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Minimum 7 years of operational, management, or leadership experience
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Engineering, Industrial Services, or Construction
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
Advantageous
• NDT experience
• API Inspection exposure
• HSE Management experience
• Project Management experience
• Existing industry network within Mozambique
