Position: IT Support Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-demand technical support and resolve issues within defined SLA timelines.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- Work closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Support and monitoring API integrations.
- Troubleshoot API errors, authentication failures, and integration issues.
- Assist in testing and validating new system features and deployments.
- Automate repetitive operational and support tasks where possible.
- Perform minor software development and scripting tasks as assigned.
- Escalate critical incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or related technologies).
- Understanding RESTful APIs and API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience with MySQL and database management systems.
- Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem solving and analytical analysis.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues for technical and non-technical users.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
