Position: IT Support Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-demand technical support and resolve issues within defined SLA timelines.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
  • Work closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Support and monitoring API integrations.
  • Troubleshoot API errors, authentication failures, and integration issues.
  • Assist in testing and validating new system features and deployments.
  • Automate repetitive operational and support tasks where possible.
  • Perform minor software development and scripting tasks as assigned.
  • Escalate critical incidents and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or related technologies).
  • Understanding RESTful APIs and API testing tools like Postman.
  • Experience with MySQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical analysis.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues for technical and non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
