WE ARE HIRING – Environmental Specialist
Training & Engineering Group (TEG) is seeking an Environmental Specialist for a major National WEEE Management Strategy project in Mozambique.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related field
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental impact assessment and environmental policy development
Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), EIAs and Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)
Experience in assessing environmental impacts related to WEEE generation, storage, transport, treatment and final disposal
Knowledge of environmental legislation, environmental risk assessment and environmental governance
Experience in stakeholder engagement, public awareness campaigns and institutional support
Ability to develop environmental indicators and monitoring frameworks
ISO 14001 or other environmental management certifications are an asset
Experience in World Bank or other donor-funded projects is highly desirable
Priority will be given to qualified Mozambican nationals.
