WE ARE HIRING – Lawyer / Legal Analyst
Training & Engineering Group (TEG) is seeking a Lawyer / Legal Analyst for a major National WEEE Management Strategy project in Mozambique.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law with specialization in Environmental Law or a related field
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in environmental and regulatory law
Strong knowledge of national and international environmental legislation and waste management regulations
Registered with the Mozambique Bar Association (OAM) or equivalent
Experience in legal analysis related to WEEE management, including the Basel Convention and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes
Knowledge of Mozambican environmental legislation, public health regulations and institutional approval procedures
Experience in developing legal and regulatory frameworks for waste management systems, including licensing, compliance, monitoring mechanisms and economic instruments (eco-taxes, recycling fees, etc.)
Experience in World Bank or other donor-funded projects is highly desirable
Priority will be given to qualified Mozambican nationals.
